Possible Causes
Dust bin full or incorrectly installed, HEPA filter clogged, Suction fan motor failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the robot and remove the dust bin.
- Empty dust bin: Open the dust bin and empty all debris. Tap gently to dislodge compacted dust.
- Clean or replace filter: Remove the primary and HEPA filters from the bin. Tap them gently against a trash can to remove dust. If washable (check your Coredy model manual), rinse with water and allow to dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling. Replace filters if they are deformed or heavily clogged.
- Check dust bin seating: Reinsert the dust bin firmly until it clicks. A misaligned bin can trigger E5.
- Inspect suction inlet: Look into the suction opening behind the brush area for blockages (paper, toys, large debris). Remove obstructions with tweezers.
If E5 persists with a clean bin and filter and no blockage, the internal suction fan motor may be defective and should be replaced.
