Possible Causes
Side brush tangled with hair or string, Side brush motor shaft bent, Side brush motor driver failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over.
- Inspect side brushes: Check each side brush (usually 1–2 on Coredy models) for hair, string, or wires wrapped around the hub. Remove the side brush by unscrewing the center screw.
- Clean hub and shaft: Remove hair from the brush hub and the motor shaft. Use tweezers for tight areas.
- Check motor rotation: Gently turn the exposed motor shaft with your fingers. It should rotate smoothly without binding.
- Reinstall or replace brushes: Reattach the side brush securely. If the bristles are deformed or very worn, install new Coredy‑compatible side brushes.
If E6 continues and one side brush does not spin during startup, the corresponding side brush motor may need replacement.
