Possible Causes
Water tank not fully inserted, Dirty or damaged water tank detection contacts, Airlock in water pump, Faulty water pump or water level sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the robot and remove the water tank. Avoid spilling water into the robot body.
- Reinsert tank: Remove and firmly reinstall the water tank until it clicks into place.
- Clean contacts: If your model uses electrical contacts to detect the tank, clean them gently with a dry cloth.
- Check water level: Ensure the tank has sufficient clean water and that the cap is properly sealed.
- Prime the pump: Run a short mopping cycle on a hard floor and check if water wets the mop pad. If not, gently tap the tank to release air bubbles.
- Inspect for leaks: Look for cracks in the tank or loose seals that could affect pressure.
- Replacement: If the pump does not run or the tank is not detected despite clean contacts, replace the water tank assembly or the internal water pump module as applicable.
