How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the dock before moving it.

  • Relocate dock: Place the dock against a straight wall with at least 0.5 m clearance on each side and 1.5 m in front.
  • Clean IR windows: Wipe the front of the dock and the robot's front IR receiver window with a soft cloth.
  • Test return-to-dock: Start a cleaning cycle and then press the home button to see if the robot can locate the dock.
  • Check dock power: Ensure the dock is powered and its indicator light is on.
  • Hardware check: If the robot consistently fails to see the dock, the dock IR transmitter or the robot's IR receiver module may need replacement.
