Possible Causes
Dirty side IR sensors, Faulty side distance sensor, Loose sensor harness, Firmware mapping error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before cleaning sensors.
- Clean side sensors: Locate the small dark windows on the sides of the robot and wipe them with a dry cloth.
- Test in simple room: Place the robot in a small room with clear walls and minimal furniture. Start a clean and observe whether it can follow walls without F13.
- Reset map (if supported): In the Dyson app, delete the existing map and allow the robot to remap the area.
If F13 persists and the robot cannot sense walls, the side sensor board or main PCB may require replacement.
