Possible Causes
Faulty thermistor in battery pack, Damaged battery harness, Corroded battery contacts, Main board charge circuit fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove it from the dock. Do not use or charge a battery that is hot, swollen, or leaking.
- Cool‑down: If the robot feels warm, allow it to cool for at least 1 hour before placing it back on the dock.
- Inspect contacts: Check the battery contacts and dock contacts for corrosion or discoloration. Clean gently with a dry cloth.
- Reseat or replace battery: If the battery is user‑replaceable, remove and reinstall it. If F15 persists, install a genuine Dyson replacement battery pack.
If a new battery does not resolve F15, the charge sensing circuit on the main board may be defective and requires professional repair.
