Possible Causes
One drive wheel slipping, Debris in one wheel, IMU/gyro calibration drift, Unequal wheel speed due to motor wear
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and flip it over for inspection.
- Inspect wheels: Check both drive wheels for debris and tread wear. Clean and remove any obstructions.
- Flat surface test: Place the robot on a flat, hard floor and start a clean. Observe whether one wheel spins faster or slips.
- Reset robot: Perform a power reset or factory reset to clear navigation data.
If circling persists, the IMU/gyro or one drive wheel motor module may be failing and should be replaced.
