Possible Causes
Clogged cyclone assembly, Blocked suction channel behind brush bar, Dirty or saturated filters, Worn brush bar bristles
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove it from the dock.
- Empty and clean bin: Remove the bin and cyclone, empty completely, and tap gently to dislodge fine dust.
- Clean filters: Remove pre‑motor and post‑motor filters (if fitted). Tap off dust and rinse washable filters under cold water only. Allow to dry for 24 hours before refitting.
- Check suction path: Remove the brush bar and inspect the suction channel behind it for blockages. Clear any debris.
- Inspect brush bar: If bristles are worn flat or missing, replace the brush bar with a genuine Dyson part.
After cleaning and replacing worn parts, suction performance should return to normal. If not, the suction motor may be weak and require replacement.
