Possible Causes

Dust bin not correctly installed, Robot not in AUTO mode, Low battery charge, Stuck bumper or cliff sensor reporting unsafe condition

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Keep the robot on a flat surface away from stairs while testing.

  • Confirm bin installation: Remove and firmly reinstall the dust bin until it clicks.
  • Check battery level: Ensure the battery indicator shows sufficient charge; if low, allow full charging before retrying.
  • Inspect bumper and sensors: Make sure the front bumper moves freely and underside cliff sensors are clean.
  • Mode selection: Verify the robot is set to a cleaning mode (AUTO) and not in PAUSE or DOCK mode via the app or onboard controls.

If the robot still refuses to start with no code, a hidden sensor or logic fault may be present and should be diagnosed by a technician.
