Possible Causes

Hair or debris wrapped around right wheel, Right wheel motor jammed, Right wheel suspension stuck, Right wheel encoder contaminated

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Switch the robot OFF and remove it from the dock.

  • Inspect the right wheel: Turn the robot upside down. Rotate the right drive wheel by hand. It should move smoothly and spring up and down.
  • Remove obstructions: Cut and pull away hair, string, and carpet fibers from the wheel hub and axle. Check inside the wheel cavity for small objects.
  • Clean dust from the wheel cavity: Use a soft brush and compressed air to clean around the wheel and encoder area.
  • Check suspension: Press the wheel up and down several times to ensure it is not stuck in the raised or lowered position.
  • Reset and test: Power the robot back on and start a cleaning cycle on a hard, flat surface.

If C2 remains: The right wheel motor or encoder is likely defective. Replace the right drive wheel assembly or have a technician perform the repair.
