How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove it from the dock.
- Remove the main brush: Unlock the main brush cover on the underside and lift out the brush.
- Clean the brush thoroughly: Use the included cleaning tool or scissors to cut away hair and threads from the bristles and ends.
- Clean end caps and bearings: Remove the end caps (if removable) and clear hair and dust from the shafts and bearing seats. Ensure the brush spins freely when held by the ends.
- Inspect the brush cavity: Clean the brush housing, especially near the drive gear and seals.
- Reinstall and test: Refit the brush and cover, ensuring they are seated correctly. Power on and start a cleaning cycle.
If C4 persists: The main brush motor or gearbox may be damaged. Replacement of the main brush motor module is recommended.
