Possible Causes

Clogged air duct or inlet, Dust bin not seated properly, Fan motor obstructed by debris, Fan motor electrical failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove the dust bin.

  • Check dust bin and filters: Empty the dust bin completely. Remove and clean the primary filter and HEPA filter (tap gently or wash if the manual allows; dry completely before reinstalling).
  • Inspect air path: Look into the suction inlet and air channel for clogs (dust balls, paper, pet hair). Remove any obstructions with a brush or tweezers.
  • Check dust bin seating: Reinstall the bin firmly until it clicks. A misaligned bin can trigger a fan error.
  • Power cycle and test: Turn the robot back on and start a cleaning cycle. Listen for the fan motor starting.

If C6 persists and the fan does not run: The fan motor (vacuum motor) may be burned out or its wiring loose. This requires opening the robot and replacing the fan motor assembly.
