Possible Causes

Worn drive wheels with low traction, Weak wheel motors, Very thick rugs or high thresholds, Loose floor cables and cords

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before freeing it.

  • Adjust environment: Secure or remove loose cables, tuck rug edges, and avoid very high thresholds where possible.
  • Inspect wheels: Check wheel treads for wear or smooth spots; clean any slippery residue.
  • Use virtual boundaries: In the Ecovacs app, set virtual walls or no-go zones around problem areas.

If the robot still struggles on normal thresholds: Consider replacing worn drive wheel assemblies.
