How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Keep the robot on the floor during operation; do not lift it while it is cleaning.

  • 1. Clean navigation sensors: Wipe the LIDAR turret window or top camera lens and front sensors with a microfiber cloth.
  • 2. Avoid moving robot: Let the robot start and finish mapping runs without being picked up or manually repositioned.
  • 3. Improve lighting: Ensure rooms are moderately lit during mapping for camera-based models.
  • 4. Recreate map: Delete the existing map in the Electrolux app and run a full mapping cycle from the dock.
  • 5. Firmware update: Update the robot’s firmware to the latest version to benefit from navigation improvements.
