Possible Causes
Battery not seated correctly, Aged or swollen Li-ion battery pack, Faulty battery protection PCB, Defective charging/power circuitry on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF and remove it from the charging base. Do not short the battery terminals.
Step-by-step:
- Check battery seating: Open the battery compartment (usually on the underside, secured by screws). Ensure the Eufy Li-ion battery pack is properly seated and the connector is fully inserted.
- Inspect the battery: Look for swelling, leakage, or damage to the battery casing. If any is present, discontinue use immediately and replace the battery with a compatible Eufy pack.
- Clean contacts: Use a dry cloth to wipe the battery contacts and mating connector. Do not use liquids.
- Charge fully: Reinstall the battery, place the robot on the charging base, and allow it to charge uninterrupted for at least 4–5 hours. Check if E10 clears after a full charge.
- Advanced diagnosis: If a known-good battery still triggers E10, the power management circuit on the main PCB may be faulty. Inspect the board for burnt components near the battery connector. Replacement of the main control board may be required.
When to stop: If you see signs of battery damage or smell burning, stop using the robot and replace the battery or seek professional service.
