Possible Causes
Clogged air path or filter, Obstructed fan impeller, Burned-out suction motor, Loose fan motor connector
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Power OFF the robot and disconnect from the charging base.
Step-by-step:
- Check and clean filters: Remove the dustbin and take out the primary filter and HEPA filter (if present). Tap them gently over a trash can or use low-power vacuuming. Replace filters if heavily clogged or damaged.
- Inspect air path: Look into the suction inlet and dustbin channel for blockages (paper, toys, large debris). Remove obstructions carefully.
- Test suction: Reinstall the bin, power ON, and start a cleaning cycle. Place your hand over the exhaust vent to feel for airflow. If there is no airflow and E7 appears, the fan may not be running.
- Advanced inspection: Remove the top cover to access the suction fan motor module (usually near the dustbin area). Check that the wiring harness is firmly connected to the main PCB and that the fan spins freely by hand.
- Replace fan module: If the fan is seized, noisy, or the motor shows burn marks, replace the entire suction fan assembly. Ensure seals and gaskets are properly seated to maintain suction.
When to stop: If you are not comfortable opening the robot or the fan module is integrated into the main body, seek professional service.
