Possible Causes
Dead or disconnected battery pack, Faulty power switch, Defective charging base or adapter, Blown fuse or damaged power circuit on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging base from the wall before handling power components.
Step-by-step:
- Check the outlet and adapter: Plug another device into the same outlet to confirm power. Verify the Eufy power adapter LED (if present) is lit.
- Inspect the charging base: Ensure the base cable is firmly connected and not damaged. Try a different compatible Eufy adapter if available.
- Force charge: Manually place the robot on the base, aligning contacts. Leave it for at least 30 minutes and check for any sign of life (LEDs, sounds).
- Check the battery: Open the battery compartment and ensure the battery pack connector is fully seated. If you have a multimeter and experience, verify battery voltage is within the specified range.
- Replace battery: If the battery is several years old or reads very low voltage, replace it with a genuine Eufy battery pack.
- Advanced repair: If a known-good battery and base still yield no power, inspect the main control board for burnt components or a blown surface-mount fuse near the battery connector. Board-level repair or replacement is required.
When to stop: If you smell burning or see charring on the PCB, discontinue use and seek professional service.
