Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and flip it over on a soft surface.

Step-by-step:

Remove and inspect main brush: Take out the main brush and check for worn or cracked end caps. Clean hair and debris from both ends and the brush cavity.
Run without brush: With the brush removed, run the robot briefly. If the noise disappears, the brush or its bearings are the cause; replace the main brush.
Listen to drive wheels: While running, listen near each drive wheel. Grinding from one side suggests a failing wheel motor gearbox.
Check suction fan: If noise persists even without brush and wheels sound normal, the suction fan may have debris inside. Access the suction fan assembly and inspect the impeller for foreign objects or damage.

When to stop: If internal gearboxes or the fan impeller are damaged, replacement modules are required; consider professional service.

Robot vacuum is very loud during operation, with grinding or rattling noises from the underside.
