Possible Causes
Battery charge too low, Dustbin not fully inserted, Stuck bumper or wheel sensor, Firmware glitch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Keep the robot on a flat surface while troubleshooting.
Step-by-step:
- Fully charge: Place the robot on the charging base until the indicator shows full charge (often solid blue/white). Then try starting a cleaning cycle.
- Check dustbin and filters: Remove, empty, and firmly reinstall the dustbin and filters. Ensure the bin clicks into place and actuates the dustbin detection switch.
- Inspect bumper and wheels: Make sure the front bumper moves freely and both drive wheels rotate and depress normally. Clear any debris.
- Reboot: Turn the power switch OFF (if present), wait 30 seconds, then turn it back ON. Alternatively, hold the power button for 10–15 seconds to reboot.
- Factory reset: If the robot still refuses to start, perform a factory reset via the app or button sequence.
When to stop: If the robot still will not start and no code is shown, there may be a hidden sensor or main board fault requiring service.
