Possible Causes

LiDAR turret blocked by dust or object, LiDAR motor stuck or failed, LiDAR ribbon cable loose, Laser emitter or sensor failure

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the robot and disconnect from the dock.

  • Inspect LiDAR turret: Gently check if the top turret can rotate freely (do not force it). Remove any visible dust or objects around it.
  • Clean LiDAR window: Wipe the transparent cover with a soft, dry microfiber cloth.
  • Restart robot: Power on and start a mapping or cleaning run. Observe if the turret spins.
  • If E14 remains: The LiDAR Module motor or electronics may have failed, or the ribbon cable may be loose. Replacement of the LiDAR assembly or main PCB is typically required and should be done by a professional.
