Possible Causes
Robot chassis lifted off floor, Drive wheels hanging in air, Front caster wheel stuck, Internal tilt or lift sensor triggered
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot.
- Relocate robot: Move the robot to a flat, hard surface and ensure all wheels are in contact with the floor.
- Inspect front caster: Check that the front caster wheel spins freely and can rotate 360°. Remove hair and debris from the axle.
- Check for obstructions: Ensure nothing is wedged under the robot that could lift it (e.g., cables, toys, door thresholds).
- Restart: Power the robot back on and start a cleaning cycle.
- If E7 persists on flat floors: The internal Tilt / Lift Sensor or wheel height sensors may be faulty. This typically requires opening the unit and replacing the sensor board or main PCB.
