Possible Causes
Dust inside LiDAR window, Jammed LiDAR turret, Faulty LiDAR motor, Failed LiDAR sensor board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the robot OFF before touching the LiDAR turret.
Steps to try:
- 1. Inspect LiDAR turret: On models with a raised round turret, gently try to rotate it. It should spin freely.
- 2. Clean LiDAR window: Wipe the top and side windows of the turret with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- 3. Remove obstructions: Ensure no stickers, tape, or decorative covers are blocking the turret.
- 4. Test spin: Power ON and start a cleaning cycle while observing the turret. If it does not rotate or makes grinding noises, the LiDAR motor may be jammed or failed.
- 5. Service replacement: LiDAR modules are delicate and usually replaced as a complete unit. Contact a Gorenje service center to replace the LiDAR assembly if E11 persists.
