Possible Causes
Faulty wheel encoders, IMU miscalibration, Debris in wheel housings, Firmware navigation bug
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot before inspecting wheels.
Steps to try:
- 1. Clean both drive wheels: Remove hair and debris from around both wheel axles and suspension areas.
- 2. Check wheel travel: Press each wheel up and down; it should move smoothly in its suspension.
- 3. Reset and recalibrate: Perform a factory reset via the app or buttons, then run the robot on a large, open area to allow it to recalibrate motion.
- 4. Firmware update: Use the Gorenje app to check for and install any navigation firmware updates.
- 5. Replace wheel modules or main PCB: If E20 persists, one or both wheel encoders or the main board motion processing may be faulty and require replacement.
