Possible Causes
Debris jammed in right wheel, Worn right wheel gearbox, Faulty right wheel encoder, Broken right wheel suspension spring
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Switch the robot OFF and remove it from the dock.
Steps to try:
- 1. Check right wheel rotation: Turn the robot over and spin the right wheel by hand. It should move freely. Any grinding or sticking indicates a jam.
- 2. Remove hair and fibers: Carefully cut and pull out hair or threads wrapped around the wheel axle and hub. Inspect deep inside the wheel cavity.
- 3. Clean the wheel housing: Use a small brush to remove dust and grit from the wheel housing and suspension area.
- 4. Run a test: Power the robot ON, start a cleaning cycle, and observe if the right wheel now spins. Stop the robot after a few seconds.
- 5. Inspect internal connection: If the wheel still does not move, remove the bottom cover and verify the right wheel module connector is firmly attached to the main board and that no wires are broken.
- 6. Replace right wheel module: Persistent E3 errors usually require replacing the right drive wheel assembly with a Gorenje‑specified part.
