Possible Causes
Cliff or front sensors dirty, IMU calibration drift, LiDAR window smudged (if equipped), Wheels slipping on floor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot.
- Clean all sensors: Wipe cliff sensors, front IR sensors, and LiDAR window (if present) with a soft cloth.
- Check wheels and floor: Clean wheel treads and ensure the floor is dry and not excessively slippery.
- Reboot and recalibrate: Power cycle the robot and, if available, run any sensor calibration or mapping reset from the Honiture app.
- Test in a simple room: Run the robot in a small, uncluttered room to see if navigation improves. Persistent issues may indicate a failing IMU Module or LiDAR Module that requires replacement.
