How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock.
- Full charge: Place the robot on the Hoover charging base and allow it to charge uninterrupted for at least 4–5 hours.
- Check runtime: If the robot shuts down within a few minutes of starting, the battery is likely worn out.
- Inspect battery connection: Remove the battery cover and ensure the battery connector is firmly seated and not discolored or melted.
- Replace battery: Install a new, compatible Hoover robot vacuum lithium battery pack.
- If E20 persists with a new battery: The battery sensing circuit on the main control PCB may be defective and require replacement by a service center.
