Possible Causes
Worn or hard plastic wheels, Grit trapped under wheels or brush, Sharp burrs on underside plastic, Hard debris stuck in brush bristles
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and place it on a soft surface upside down.
- Inspect wheels: Check drive wheels and caster wheel for embedded grit or sharp edges. Clean thoroughly and replace if the rubber is worn through.
- Check underside plastic: Look for cracked or sharp plastic edges that could drag on the floor. Smooth minor burrs with fine sandpaper.
- Clean brushes: Remove any hard debris (stones, glass) from the main and side brushes.
- Test in small area: After cleaning, test the robot in an inconspicuous area to confirm no further marking.
