Possible Causes
Clogged dustbin filter, Blocked suction inlet, Partially clogged air duct, Worn suction fan blades
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dustbin.
- Empty dustbin: Completely empty the Hoover dustbin and wipe it clean.
- Clean/replace filter: Remove the HEPA/foam filter, tap it gently to remove dust, or wash it if the manual allows. Replace the filter if it is deformed or heavily soiled.
- Check suction path: Inspect the opening behind the main brush and the channel into the dustbin for clogs. Remove any hair, dust balls, or objects.
- Inspect fan intake: With the bin removed, look into the fan intake port and clear any visible debris.
- Test suction: Reassemble and run the robot. If suction is still weak, the suction fan motor assembly may be worn and require replacement.
