How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot.
- Check installation: Ensure the Hoover side brush is firmly pushed onto the shaft and the retaining screw is tight.
- Inspect brush: Replace the side brush if the hub is cracked or stripped.
- Test motor: Start a cleaning cycle and gently touch the side brush area to feel for motor vibration. If there is none, the motor may be dead.
- Internal check: If comfortable, remove the bottom cover and verify the side brush motor connector is firmly attached to the main PCB.
