How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the charging base before inspecting the robot.
- Check outlet and dock: Verify the wall outlet works and the dock power indicator is lit.
- Try hard reset: If your Hoover model has a main power switch, turn it OFF for 1 minute, then ON. Try holding the power/clean button for 10–15 seconds.
- Inspect battery: Remove the battery cover and check for swelling, leakage, or burnt smell. Replace the battery if any damage is found.
- Test with new battery: Install a compatible Hoover battery pack and attempt to power on.
- If still dead: The internal fuse or main control PCB is likely failed. The main control PCB should be replaced by a qualified technician.
