Possible Causes
Multiple motors overloaded by debris, Shorted motor winding, Damaged wiring harness, Failing main control board power stage
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot immediately and remove it from the dock. Do not continue to run the robot until the cause is identified.
- 1. Inspect all moving parts: Check the main brush, side brush, drive wheels, and caster wheel for jams or heavy debris. Clear any obstructions thoroughly.
- 2. Check for burning smell: If you notice a burnt odor, a motor or the main board may have been damaged. Do not continue to operate the robot.
- 3. Examine wiring: Open the bottom cover and inspect the internal wiring harnesses for pinched, cut, or melted insulation that could cause a short.
- 4. Test components individually (advanced): Disconnect one motor at a time (main brush, side brush, fan, wheels) and attempt to power the robot to isolate which circuit triggers E15.
- 5. Replace faulty motor or board: Replace any motor that shows signs of overheating or shorting. If no single motor is at fault, the main control board power circuitry may be defective and should be replaced by a technician.
