How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No electrical exposure is required for basic troubleshooting; do not open the robot unless necessary.
- 1. Reset time: Use the iHome app or robot controls to set the correct time and date. Save and verify the settings.
- 2. Delete and recreate schedules: Remove all existing scheduled cleanings in the app, then add them again.
- 3. Firmware update: Check for firmware updates via the app and install any available updates.
- 4. Power reset: Turn OFF the robot, remove it from the dock, and disconnect the battery for 2–3 minutes (if accessible). Reconnect and reconfigure time and schedules.
- 5. Replace main board: If E17 persists and the robot cannot retain time, the main control board RTC circuit may be defective and require replacement.
