Possible Causes
Water tank not fully inserted, Water tank presence switch stuck, Water pump failure, Water level sensor fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank. Avoid spilling water into the robot body.
- 1. Reinsert water tank: Ensure the water tank slides in fully and clicks into place. Check for debris on the tank rails.
- 2. Inspect tank tabs: Verify that the plastic tabs on the tank that engage the presence switch are intact.
- 3. Check for leaks: Fill the tank and check for leaks around seals and the pump outlet. Replace the tank if it leaks.
- 4. Clean contacts/switch: If the tank uses electrical contacts, clean them with a dry cloth. For mechanical switches, use compressed air to clear dust.
- 5. Test pump: Start a mopping cycle and listen for the water pump. If it does not run and E19 appears, the pump or sensor may be faulty.
- 6. Replace components: Replace the iHome water tank assembly (with integrated pump and sensors) if it is not detected or the pump does not operate.
