Possible Causes
Damaged water tank seal, Cracked water tank body, Clogged or stuck water valve, Mop pad holder not installed correctly
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank. Keep water away from the robot's electrical components.
- 1. Inspect tank: Fill the water tank and hold it over a sink. Check for leaks around seams, caps, and the outlet valve.
- 2. Check seals: Examine rubber gaskets and O‑rings for cracks or deformation. Replace the tank if seals are not serviceable.
- 3. Clean valve: Gently press the outlet valve (if accessible) to ensure it moves freely. Rinse to remove any debris.
- 4. Verify mop pad holder: Ensure the mop pad plate is installed correctly and that the pad is not bunched up, which can cause pooling.
- 5. Replace tank: If leaks persist, install a new iHome water tank assembly.
