Possible Causes

Water tank not fully inserted, Mop module detection switch dirty or stuck, Corroded contacts between robot and water tank, Incorrect or damaged water tank

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn OFF the robot and remove the water tank. Keep electronics away from water.

Step-by-step:

  • Inspect water tank: Check that the tank is the correct model for your ILIFE robot and that its plastic tabs are not broken.
  • Clean detection contacts: If your model uses electrical contacts, wipe them on both the tank and robot with a dry cloth.
  • Check mechanical latch/switch: Look for a small lever or switch where the tank slides in. Make sure it moves freely and is not blocked by dirt.
  • Reinstall tank firmly: Slide the tank straight in until you hear or feel a click. Do not force it at an angle.
  • Test in mop mode: Turn the robot ON and select mop mode. Confirm that E10 is cleared.

If E10 remains: The tank detection switch or sensor on the main board may be faulty. Replacement of the detection switch or main PCB may be required.
