Safety first: Turn off the robot before removing the bin.
Steps to resolve:
- Empty and clean bin: Remove the bin, empty it completely, and wipe the interior, especially near any small windows or levers used for the full sensor.
- Clean sensor windows: On models with optical bin sensors, gently wipe the small clear windows inside the bin and on the robot with a dry cloth.
- Reinstall bin firmly: Slide the bin back in until it clicks. Ensure no debris is blocking the bin rails.
- Reset robot: Perform a soft reset and test again.
When to replace parts: If the bin error persists with a clean, properly seated bin, the bin sensor or bin assembly may need replacement.
