How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: If the robot or battery feels hot, unplug the Home Base and allow everything to cool before further use.
Steps to resolve:
- Allow to cool or warm: Move the robot and base to a room-temperature environment (15–30°C / 59–86°F) and let sit for at least 1 hour.
- Reseat battery (if accessible): Remove the battery, inspect for swelling or damage, then reinstall firmly.
- Try direct plug (if supported): Some models can be charged directly via a power adapter; test if available.
When to replace parts: If Charging Error 2 continues in normal temperatures, replace the battery pack. If a new battery does not resolve it, the charging circuit on the main board may be defective.
