Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the Clean Base before inspecting or inserting tools into any openings.
Steps to resolve:
- Check robot evacuation port: Remove the robot from the base and inspect the rear evacuation port and matching port on the base for clumps of debris. Remove by hand or with a small brush.
- Inspect suction tube: Open any access panels on the Clean Base (per manual) and look for blockages in the tube leading to the bag.
- Clear clogs gently: Use a flexible vacuum attachment or a long, flexible brush to dislodge clogs. Do not use sharp objects that could puncture the tube.
- Reassemble and test: Plug the base back in, dock the robot, and trigger a manual empty via the app or robot button.
When to replace parts: If the Clean Base still cannot evacuate debris and the motor sounds strained or does not run, the internal vacuum motor or fan assembly may be failing.
