Possible Causes
Clogged main filter, Dust bin overfilled, Debris blocking suction channel, Worn or damaged main brushes, Air leak around bin seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the robot and remove it from the Home Base before cleaning.
Steps to improve cleaning:
- Empty the bin: Remove and fully empty the dust bin. Tap it gently to dislodge compacted dust.
- Clean or replace filter: Remove the filter from the bin. Tap it against a trash can to remove dust (outdoors if possible). Replace the filter if it is more than a few months old or visibly damaged.
- Check suction path: Inspect the bin’s suction inlet and the robot’s suction channel for clumps of hair or debris and remove them.
- Inspect main brushes: Remove and clean the main brushes and end caps. Replace brushes if they are worn smooth, cracked, or permanently deformed.
- Check bin seal: Inspect the rubber gasket around the bin opening for tears or deformation; ensure the bin seats tightly.
When to replace parts: If suction remains weak after cleaning, replace the filter and main brush set. Persistent low suction may indicate a failing vacuum motor.
