Possible Causes
Dirty or oxidized charging contacts, Faulty charging dock, Damaged battery pack communication line, Main board charging IC failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the charging dock before cleaning contacts.
- 1. Clean contacts:
- Use a dry cloth to wipe the robot’s charging pads and the dock’s metal contacts.
- For stubborn oxidation, lightly rub with a pencil eraser, then wipe clean.
- 2. Check dock power:
- Plug the dock into a known-good outlet.
- Confirm the dock indicator light is on.
- 3. Reseat robot:
- Place the robot on the dock and ensure it aligns and the charging icon appears in the app or on the robot.
- Leave it charging for at least 4 hours.
- 4. Inspect battery (advanced):
- Turn OFF the robot and open the battery compartment.
- Check that the battery connector is fully seated and wires are intact.
- 5. If E10 persists:
- Try another Kyvol-compatible dock or adapter if available.
- If still unresolved, the battery pack or main board charging circuit likely needs replacement.
