Possible Causes
Weak Wi‑Fi signal at robot location, Incorrect Wi‑Fi password or unsupported band, Faulty Wi‑Fi module on main board, App firmware mismatch
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No electrical disassembly needed for basic checks.
- 1. Check network:
- Ensure your router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network (most Kyvol robots do not support 5 GHz only).
- Confirm the password is correct and there is internet access.
- 2. Move closer to router:
- Place the dock and robot within 3–5 m (10–15 ft) of the router during setup.
- 3. Reset Wi‑Fi on robot:
- Follow the Kyvol manual to enter Wi‑Fi pairing mode (usually by holding a specific button until a tone or voice prompt).
- 4. Update app/firmware:
- Update the Kyvol app to the latest version.
- Once connected, check for robot firmware updates.
- 5. Hardware fault:
- If the robot never enters pairing mode or always shows E14, the Wi‑Fi module on the main board may be defective and require board replacement.
