Possible Causes

Robot high-centered on threshold or cable, One wheel lifted off the floor, Excessive debris in wheel suspension, Faulty wheel height sensor (if equipped)

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the robot before freeing it.

  • 1. Free the robot:
    • Lift the robot off any threshold, cable, or thick rug where it is stuck.
    • Place it on a flat, hard floor.
  • 2. Check wheel movement:
    • Press each drive wheel up and down to ensure the suspension moves freely.
    • Remove any debris or hair that may be jamming the wheel arms.
  • 3. Clear the area:
    • Remove loose cables, high thresholds, or thick rug edges from the cleaning area, or use boundary strips if your Kyvol model supports them.
  • 4. Test again:
    • Power ON and start a cleaning cycle on open floor.
    • If E6 appears even on flat surfaces, a wheel position sensor or motor may be faulty.
  • 5. Service:
    • Inspect wheel modules and wiring; replace the affected wheel assembly or consult a technician.
