Possible Causes
Robot high-centered on threshold or cable, One wheel lifted off the floor, Excessive debris in wheel suspension, Faulty wheel height sensor (if equipped)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot before freeing it.
- 1. Free the robot:
- Lift the robot off any threshold, cable, or thick rug where it is stuck.
- Place it on a flat, hard floor.
- 2. Check wheel movement:
- Press each drive wheel up and down to ensure the suspension moves freely.
- Remove any debris or hair that may be jamming the wheel arms.
- 3. Clear the area:
- Remove loose cables, high thresholds, or thick rug edges from the cleaning area, or use boundary strips if your Kyvol model supports them.
- 4. Test again:
- Power ON and start a cleaning cycle on open floor.
- If E6 appears even on flat surfaces, a wheel position sensor or motor may be faulty.
- 5. Service:
- Inspect wheel modules and wiring; replace the affected wheel assembly or consult a technician.
