How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the robot and remove the dustbin before working on the brush.

  • 1. Remove the main brush:
    • Open the brush guard latch on the underside.
    • Lift out the main roller brush.
  • 2. Clean thoroughly:
    • Cut away hair and threads from the brush bristles and ends.
    • Remove the end caps (if removable) and clear hair from the bearings.
  • 3. Inspect brush cavity:
    • Check inside the brush housing for debris or foreign objects.
    • Rotate the brush motor shaft by hand; it should turn smoothly.
  • 4. Reassemble and test:
    • Reinstall the brush and close the guard securely.
    • Turn the robot ON and start a cleaning cycle; watch if the brush spins.
  • 5. If E8 persists:
    • Remove the bottom cover and inspect the main brush motor wiring.
    • If the motor is burnt, noisy, or seized, replace the main brush motor assembly.
