How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Turn OFF the robot before removing the dustbin.

  • 1. Reseat the dustbin:
    • Remove the dustbin completely.
    • Empty it and clean the filter according to Kyvol instructions (tap gently or wash if washable, then dry fully).
    • Reinsert the dustbin firmly until it clicks.
  • 2. Check bin sensor:
    • Look for a small switch or optical sensor where the dustbin slides in.
    • Clean the area with a dry cloth to remove dust buildup.
  • 3. Clear airflow path:
    • Inspect the suction inlet and internal channels for clogs.
    • Remove any compacted dust or debris.
  • 4. Test:
    • Power ON and start cleaning; ensure the bin is recognized and E9 clears.
  • 5. If unresolved:
    • The dustbin sensor or main board input may be faulty; replacement of the sensor or main board may be required.
