Main brush or fan motor overloaded by blockage, Hair wrapped around brush ends, Internal short in motor windings, Poor ventilation due to clogged filters

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Immediately turn OFF the robot and remove it from the dock. Do not continue using it until inspected.

  • 1. Allow to cool:
    • Let the robot cool for at least 30 minutes in a ventilated area.
  • 2. Check for blockages:
    • Remove and clean the main brush, side brushes, and dustbin.
    • Clean or replace filters.
  • 3. Inspect motors:
    • Spin the main brush and wheels by hand; they should move freely.
    • If a motor feels seized or rough, it may be failing.
  • 4. Test briefly:
    • Run the robot for a few minutes while monitoring for smell or excessive heat.
  • 5. If smell returns:
    • Stop using the robot and have the suspect motor (brush, fan, or wheel) and possibly the main board replaced by a technician.
