How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot before freeing it from obstacles.
- 1. Prepare environment:
- Remove or tape down loose cables.
- Fold or remove very thick rugs during cleaning.
- 2. Check wheels:
- Inspect drive wheels for wear or damage.
- Ensure they move up and down freely.
- 3. Use boundary tools:
- If your Kyvol model supports magnetic strips or virtual walls, place them around problem areas.
- 4. Test on different surfaces:
- Run the robot on hard floors to confirm it moves normally.
- 5. If it still struggles on minor thresholds:
- Wheel motors or springs may be weak; consider replacing the drive wheel assemblies.
