Dustbin Presence Detection Failure
Robot vacuum often stops with the message that the dustbin is missing, even when it is installed.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn OFF the robot before working with the dustbin.
- 1. Reseat dustbin:
- Remove and firmly reinsert the dustbin until it clicks.
- 2. Clean sensor area:
- Locate the dustbin detection switch or optical sensor inside the bin slot.
- Clean gently with a dry cotton swab.
- 3. Inspect dustbin:
- Check the bin’s latch and tabs for damage or warping.
- Replace the dustbin if it cannot lock securely.
- 4. Test:
- Turn ON the robot and see if the bin is recognized consistently.
- 5. If problem persists:
- The sensor or main board input may be faulty; sensor or board replacement is required.
