Robot vacuum often stops with the message that the dustbin is missing, even when it is installed.

Safety: Turn OFF the robot before working with the dustbin.

• 1. Reseat dustbin:
  • Remove and firmly reinsert the dustbin until it clicks.
• 2. Clean sensor area:
  • Locate the dustbin detection switch or optical sensor inside the bin slot.
  • Clean gently with a dry cotton swab.
• 3. Inspect dustbin:
  • Check the bin’s latch and tabs for damage or warping.
  • Replace the dustbin if it cannot lock securely.
• 4. Test:
  • Turn ON the robot and see if the bin is recognized consistently.
• 5. If problem persists:
  • The sensor or main board input may be faulty; sensor or board replacement is required.
