Possible Causes
Main brush tangled with hair or debris, Main brush bearings seized, Main brush motor failing, Main brush gearbox jammed
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the Laresar robot vacuum OFF using the power switch (if present) and remove it from the charging dock. Do not work on the unit while it is charging.
- Inspect the main brush: Turn the robot upside down. Remove the main brush cover by pressing the release tabs. Lift out the main roller brush.
- Clean hair and debris: Use the supplied cleaning tool or scissors to cut away hair, threads, and pet fur wrapped around the brush and the brush ends. Pay special attention to the end caps and bearing areas.
- Check brush bearings: Remove the end caps (if removable) and clear any debris. Spin the brush by hand; it should rotate freely without grinding or sticking.
- Inspect the brush cavity: Look inside the brush housing for lodged objects (toys, stones, large debris) and remove them.
- Check the brush motor: With the brush removed, briefly power on the robot and start a cleaning cycle. If the E1 error appears immediately or the brush motor does not spin, the motor or gearbox may be faulty.
- Reassemble and test: Reinstall the brush and cover securely. Restart the robot and run a test clean.
- If problem persists: The main brush motor or gearbox assembly may need replacement. Contact Laresar support or a qualified technician for motor module replacement.
