Possible Causes

Charging contacts dirty or oxidized, Dock power adapter unplugged, Dock IR transmitter blocked, Charging contact springs stuck

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug the dock from the wall before cleaning contacts.

  • Check dock power: Ensure the dock's power adapter is firmly plugged into the wall and dock. Verify any power LED is on.
  • Clean contacts: Use a dry cloth to clean the metal charging contacts on both the robot and the dock. For light oxidation, use a pencil eraser gently, then wipe clean.
  • Check spring action: Press the robot's charging pins gently; they should move in and out freely.
  • Clear line of sight: Make sure there are no objects blocking the front of the dock; the IR signal must reach the robot.
  • Test docking: Place the robot 0.5–1 m in front of the dock and press the Home/Dock button. Observe if it approaches and connects.
  • If E10 persists: The dock's power board or the robot's charging PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
