How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off the robot and remove the water tank.
- Inspect water tank: Check that the tank is not cracked and that its electrical contacts (if present) are clean and dry.
- Clean contacts: Wipe the contacts on both the tank and robot with a dry cloth. Ensure there is no corrosion.
- Reinstall tank: Slide the tank back in until it clicks and sits flush with the body.
- Check for leaks: Fill the tank with water and observe for any dripping that could affect internal sensors.
- Test mopping mode: Power on the robot and start a mopping cycle.
- If E12 persists: The water tank detection switch or sensor board may be faulty and require replacement.
